In early July, part of the Brüggli on Lake Zug turned into a place of pure comfort: to round off the 2024/25 season, FC Zugersee players, families, friends and fans came together for a relaxed day off the pitch in glorious summer weather.
While fine sausages, steaks and vegetarian treats sizzled on the grill, well-chilled drinks and a generous salad buffet did the rest. The barbecue day went down especially well with the youngest members — whether kicking a ball about, playing frisbee
next door or cooling off in the lake the club is named after.
Particular thanks go to our committee members (and their families), who once again shone with faultless organisation and
a well-timed appeal to the weather gods, turning the day into a real highlight.
FC Zugersee would also like to thank everyone who brought salads, desserts and ice cubes — and everyone who helped set up and
pack away. Moments like these show that our club is more than football; it is a piece of home. We wish all members a wonderful summer and look forward to the start of the new season.
